Professional Highlights

Guy Odhams was a Senior Vice President in the Corporate Restructuring practice of one of the Big 4 accounting firms. After obtaining his Chartered Accountant designation in 1982, Guy worked exclusively in the Financial Advisory Services practice area in Vancouver, Ottawa, and Calgary. Guy obtained his Trustee in Bankruptcy license in 1987 and has more than 20 years of experience in all aspects of corporate restructuring. For the period 1998 to 2001, Guy moved to Seoul, Korea to successfully set up a new Corporate Recovery practice.

Guy has been involved in the various specialties within the financial advisory services practice area including: corporate restructuring and workouts, formal insolvency appointments, corporate finance and forensic accounting. Guy's chief areas of technical expertise include:

• Monitoring all aspects of Corporate performance

• Formal and Informal Corporate restructuring in variety of industries

Guy has extensive experience in providing turnaround assistance to companies, as well as assisting secured creditors to restructure or realize on their security. Guy has undertaken numerous financial viability assessments and insolvency proceedings in a wide range of industries. He also has experience in Proposals under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act and Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act. Guy has additional experience in assisting creditors and companies under the various insolvency statutes and legislation in South Korea.
