Qualifications
Barry joined Collins Barrow Limited in the spring of 2002 to further develop the Corporate Recovery Practice for the firm. Barry brings his extensive corporate recovery skills, which are detailed herein.
Barry received his Bachelor of Science – Economics from the University of Lethbridge, where after he joined the predecessor firm of Coopers & Lybrand and qualified as a Chartered Accountant. Upon qualification, Barry transferred to the Toronto office of Coopers & Lybrand for one year to gain experience with the Business Investigation Group.
Barry returned to the Calgary office of Coopers & Lybrand and established the Business Investigation Group having overall responsibility for the development and growth of this practice unit ultimately achieving the distinction as one of the firms leading practices whose clients included all the Canadian Chartered Banks.
Barry returned to his hometown of Lethbridge, Alberta and developed a similar practice unit for a leading Lethbridge Chartered Accounting practice.
Barry has spent the last number of years consulting in the venture capital field.
